I have been happy to see many of the exhibits around the world that are reconnecting people of all kinds to the art and culture of Islam. If you live in or near New York City, or are planning a trip there, be sure to visit the new permanent exhibit of Islamic Art there, it re-opened in a newly designed gallery in November of 2011 and is an extraordinary collection, highly recommended by yours truly.
